Matthew McConaughey’s new book: Poems & Prayers
Matthew McConaughey, actor known for Interstellar, True Detective and The Wolf of Wall Street, and author of the bestseller Greenlights, returns to writing. His latest book, Poems & Prayers, will be published on September 16 by Headline Publishing Group, simultaneously in the UK, US, Australia and Ireland. An audiobook version read by McConaughey himself will also be available on release day.

Poems & Prayers is a deeply personal collection of poetry and prayers in which McConaughey reflects on life, humanity and the fragile art of keeping hope alive. Drawing inspiration from proverbs and the Old Testament as well as his travels – from Australian bathtubs to shady hammocks south of the border and thousands of miles on the road in an Airstream – the book combines humour, vulnerability and a search for meaning.
