L\u2019\u00e9crivaine fran\u00e7aise Marion Brunet est la laur\u00e9ate du prix Astrid Lindgren 2025 (ALMA). Cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 2002 par le gouvernement su\u00e9dois, cette r\u00e9compense est la plus prestigieuse dans le domaine de la litt\u00e9rature jeunesse. Elle est dot\u00e9e d\u2019un montant de 5 millions de couronnes su\u00e9doises, soit environ 460 000 euros. <\/p>\n\n

Qui est Marion Brunet ?<\/h2>\n\n

N\u00e9e en 1976 dans le Vaucluse, Marion Brunet a travaill\u00e9 pendant quinze ans comme \u00e9ducatrice sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s d\u2019adolescents en difficult\u00e9 psychique.Cette exp\u00e9rience influence encore aujourd\u2019hui l\u2019ensemble de son \u0153uvre. Elle y explore la violence, l\u2019exclusion, les injustices sociales et les angoisses des jeunes face \u00e0 l\u2019avenir.<\/p>\n\n

Premiers livres et trajectoire litt\u00e9raire<\/h2>\n\n

Brunet publie son premier roman, Frangine, en 2013. Elle y raconte l\u2019histoire de deux enfants \u00e9lev\u00e9s par un couple de femmes et y aborde frontalement l\u2019homophobie.Depuis, elle a \u00e9crit plus d\u2019une dizaine de titres : romans d\u2019amour, thrillers, polars, r\u00e9cits de fantasy. Parmi ses plus r\u00e9cents, on trouve le deuxi\u00e8me tome de la trilogie Ilos et Nos armes, tous deux parus en 2024. <\/p>\n\n

Des r\u00e9cits puissants et engag\u00e9s<\/h2>\n\n

La prose de Brunet est salu\u00e9e pour sa langue claire et cisel\u00e9e. Ses h\u00e9ros sont souvent des adolescents ou des jeunes adultes qui refusent de se soumettre \u00e0 la norme.Malgr\u00e9 les th\u00e9matiques sombres \u2013 racisme, sexisme, pr\u00e9carit\u00e9 \u2013 ses r\u00e9cits laissent aussi une place \u00e0 l\u2019humour, \u00e0 la solidarit\u00e9, \u00e0 l\u2019amour, et \u00e0 une forme de merveilleux inspir\u00e9e des contes et du lien \u00e0 la nature. <\/p>\n\n

Avant de recevoir le prix Astrid Lindgren, Marion Brunet a \u00e9t\u00e9 plusieurs fois prim\u00e9e, notamment par le Grand Prix de litt\u00e9rature polici\u00e8re en 2018 pour L\u2019\u00c9t\u00e9 circulaire.Ses livres ont \u00e9t\u00e9 traduits en anglais, en espagnol, en catalan et en russe.En France, ses \u0153uvres ont \u00e9t\u00e9 salu\u00e9es pour leur force litt\u00e9raire et leur engagement, et rencontrent un accueil tr\u00e8s favorable tant du public que des critiques. <\/p>\n\n

Une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie \u00e0 Stockholm<\/h2>\n\n

La remise du prix Astrid Lindgren aura lieu le 9 juin 2025 \u00e0 la salle de concert de Stockholm. En mettant \u00e0 l\u2019honneur Marion Brunet, le jury salue une autrice qui donne une voix aux invisibles, sans jamais c\u00e9der \u00e0 la facilit\u00e9 ni \u00e0 l\u2019apitoiement.
